Job Title: Human Resource Associate – Substitute Services
Classification: General Office
Grade: 116
Calendar: 2611H
Job Goal:
The Human Resource Associate performs a wide range of clerical and technical duties to support the operation of the substitute services team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of substitute services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, with post-graduate work in business or a related field
- Experience in Human Resources or a related field desired
- Excellent human relations and communication skills
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Core Job Functions:
- Perform various clerical tasks, including data entry, typing, filing, record-keeping, and report preparation
- Pull applications, schedule interviews, conduct employment references on recommended applicants and complete onboarding for all new substitutes
- Respond to inquiries, prepare reports and assist with data collection with Substitute Services Supervisor
- Maintain confidential files and assist with new employee orientation and post-employment paperwork
- Back up for Substitute Services Supervisor
- Assist with payroll daily and weekly
- System support for substitutes and employees
- Perform other duties related to the general job function as assigned by the supervisor
